—SAYS THE POPE
VATICAN CITY.
Religious teaching most match in intensity the teachings of the enemies of religion, said the Pope this week.
In a letter to the Vicegerent of the Rome diocese, Mgr. Traglia, on the occasion of the current diocesan C,atechistical Congress, the Holy Father declared: "The more the enemies of religion and morals are trying to cloud the minds and corrupt the hearts with old and new doctrines, so much greater must be the duty to see to it that religious teaching be solid, illuminating, fit for the age and the spiritual ability of each one. " This teaching must be such that it will not remain imperfect, dry and absolutely inadequate in the midst of the vaster, more developed equipment of the non-Catholic culture."
