THE POPE RECEIVES PRESSMEN

VATICAN CITY.

The Pope received a group of 35 reporters in a special audience in the Consistorial Hall of the Vatican Palace on Sunday last. The Holy Father did not address the group because of the heavy day he faced with the beatification ceremonies.

But he remained with the reporters for half-an-hour, talking briefly with each one individually and finally giving his blessing to the whole group and their families.

" The Pope seemed to be in very good health, although a bit tired," said one of them afterwards. " Mc walked around the big room with a firm step and was quite animated as he spoke to each one present."
