Missionaries

ON September 25 with six other members, I started the work of the Crusade of the Holy Spirit for Latin America here in Salamanca. The Crusade of the Holy Spirit is a modern missionary institute of priests, of candidates for the priesthood and of laymen and is being organised so that it will develop into a secular institute. The headquarters and training centre are here in Salamanca.

All the clerical students who have joined me in this effort had interrupted their theological studies and worked for some time. They are ideal candidates for this work. I could not ask for better. I am well aware that there are hundreds of other such candidates in Ireland. Are you one of them? If so, you will be welcome to try your vocation again in this modern missionary movement for Latin America.

It seems to me that those who interrupted their theological studies and worked at a job had time to evaluate their vocation in a different light.
