The 700-year-old chapel at Hazlewood Castle, Yorks., the only Catholic church or chapel to be given a grant during 1958 by the Historic Churches Preservation Trust, is the only Catholic chapel in the north which has never ceased to be Catholic. It Was granted £100 by the Trust, the sixth annual report of which was published last week.
