Cardinai Leger, Archbishop of Montreal, said last week that in keeping watch over television it ought not to be merely a Question of settling where immorality began; one must also take into consideration the positive aspects of the total output of TV. The Cardinal was speaking at the end of the Canadian National Congziess of radio and TV personnel.

SALFORD DIALOGUE

Churches all over the diocese of Salford have started dialogue Mass following a letter from Bishop Beck encouraging them to do so. "It is going as well as can be expected at the start," said a priest at one Manchester church. " But we are sure everyone will join in once they get used to saying the Latin."

Cardinal Wendel, Archbishop of Munich, Germany. has suggested to the Oberaminerssau Passion Play Committee the idea of staging a performance of the Passion Play in Munich next year during the International Eucharistic Congress.
