The largest religious statue in the world is being erected near Lyons, France. This statue of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart will dominate the valley of the Rhone, and will be seen for miles. The statue will be 110 feet high, and will be thus bigger than the famous statue of Christ The King in the Andes, which is 97 feet high.
