Sis,-In the name of a number of puzzled readers, may I ask you to tell us a little more of what is meant in the last paragraph of the sub-leader under the above title in your issue of October 27? We have been under a firm impression that Commander Stephen King-Hall has used his talents and his opportunities to further the cause of the Left. We understand that he has leanings towards closer relations with Russia; that he is associated with the movement known as "P.E.P." and which has been described as " Bolshevism by Stealth," and that he advocates legal penalties to be imposed upon parents who prefer to have their children within the home influence rather than in exile for the duration. Is this the sort of person seriously suggested for the key-position of Minister of Information? Or were you indulging in a little leg-pulling?
T. W. C. Cu so.
