PORNOGRAPHY is being used to spread the word in the Philippines — quite literally. The Trust International Paper Corp. (TIPCO), in co-operation with the Bureau of Customs. has given recycled pornographic magazines to the Philippine Bible Society for the printing of Scriptures.

The Bureau of Customs and 77PCO has agreed to recycle 3,000 copies of confiscated pornographic magazines. and donate the recycled paper to the Bible Society in the form of two 250-kilo rolls of newsprint.

The resident manager of 77PCO says that the recycling of pornographic material is "very consistent with the Lord Jesus Christ. He called a batch of Imeducated fishermen to turn the world upside down and social outcasts to do great things for him. We are able to learn a thing or two from those examples... and we lwpe other paper mills will follow suit."
