Argentina confiscates Jesuit journal

President•Jorge Videla of Argentina has ordered the confiscation of the Jesuit magazine, CIAS, and the daily, La Opinion, in an effor to stop what he called "biased and inaccurate" statements against Argentina's armed forces.

For two weeks CIAS had gone unhampered in circulating an article chastising the ruling generals, saying they were using Communist tactics of torture and repression against dissidents. It was not until La Opinion reprinted the charges that General Videla took action.
