various comedies and dramas that are enacted in a modern block of tenement fiats. The drama and sentiment in many of the scenes were overdone. The humour, especially of the two charwomen, who form a kind of comic Greek chorus, amused the audience.

The Winter Garden Theatre announce a policy of lower prices. " One-third of the entire accommodation will be available at one shilling." At the price. it is worth it.
