Petrus Films has an embryonic plan for an enormous parochial film drive which it hopes will establish, with the co-operation of the clergy, a monthly film show as a regular feature of parish life.

Petrus suggests that " the production of Catholic films of high standard can only be accomplished by the provision of an adequate market for it "—a proposition which has also been put the other way round, I would remark.

To ensure a supply of film to meet this demand of monthly parochial shows up and down the country, Petrus suggests that a working production unit must start in early summer to be ready for autumn and winter demands.
