Pilgrimage To Lourdes For Peace

At the recent October meeting of the Hierarchy of England and Wales it was agreed that a national pilgrimage to Lourdes be organised by the National Society of Our Lady of Lourdes for the " preservation of peace among all nations."

The pilgrimage will leave London on May 23, and arrive in Lourdes on Ascension Day. Cardinal Hinsley, Archbishc.p of Westminster, will lead the pilgrimage. For the last two years the annual National Pilgrimage has not gone to Lourdes at the customary time—last year in order to fit in with the Budapest Eucharistic Congress, and the year before because of the Coronation.
