Seminary in War Zone Carries On

Although rural mission work in Inner Mongolia is hampered by unsettled conditions, in Tatung city (China), Catholic life has resumed its normal course.

The two Catholic schools in the city regained their full quota of pupils.

The Major Regional Seminary reopened with a staff of nine professors and a student body of 46 theologians. During last year this Seminary gave ten new priests to the Church. The vacancies left by them have been promptly filled, as 18 seminarians, completing their philosophy course at the Suiyuan Central Seminary, have been. transferred to Tatung.
