CATHOLIC BOOK FAIR Prize Essay Competition

In connection with the Catholic Book Fair, to be held in Westminster Cathedral Hall on November 24 and 25, a competition open to pupils of Catholic schools is being organised. The schoolchildren are invited to submit essays from 500 to 1,000 words under the title Five Books I Would Like to Buy to Press Department, Westminster Catholic Enquiry Bureau, Archbishop's House, Westminster, S.W.I.

The essays must give the titles of books selected, the names of the authors, and, if possible, the names of the publishers.

Ten winning essays will be selected. The prizes will be ten blocks, each containing 50 tickets, for a Christmas circus. These tickets will be applicable to fifty children in the winner's parish, selected by the rector. Winners outside London will nominate a Lonan parish.
