C.T.S. PAMPHLETS

SIR,—Attending the opening of the Catholic Press Week in Sheffield, I was surprised to hear some criticism of the C.T.S. pamphlets for lacking the quality of " catching the eye." Recently in connection with the starting of a C.T.S. box in the college I have had the opportunity of seeing the covers of several hundred pamphlets. What has struck me about them on the whole has been, not their dinginess, but the great effort which has been made by the Catholic Truth Society in the last year or two to make their publications as bright and attractive as possible—particularly' when they deal with such subjects as Communism and Bolshevism. DENTS E. B. CARR. Mount St. Mary's College, Spinkhill, Sheffield.
