More than 40 pilgrims followed the route taken by St

Philip Howard's funeral procession from the Tower of London to Arundel. St Philip was held In the Tower for 11 years before he died In 1595 from suspected Poisoning. The Pilgrims visited Beauchamp Tower, where St Philip was Imprisoned, and the Crypt of St Peter ad Vincula, ware where his body wee first buried.

From there they travelled up the Thames by launch to Hampton Court. The rest of the route to Arundel Cathedral was completed on foot. Our pictures show Fr Mark Elvin., the pilgrimage director leading the pilgrims In Arundel Cathedral (below), end the Journey by launch up the Thames (above).
