In some churches it seems I am at a concert instead of Holy Mass; quiet dignity has gone. Some who receive. Holy Communion return to their pews and instruments and immediately interrupt that time of meditation.
I do wonder why some churches bother with Mass sheets as other papers with "variations" are also handed out. Holy Mass is not playschool. Jesus said: "Do this in remembrance of Me." He did not say "give a concert".
