Relief plane crashes

ACHURCH mercy aircraft flying food into Biafra crashed on Saturday night killing the crew of four.

The crew of the plane, which was carrying milk powder, were identified as Captain John Macomie of Britain, co-pilot Heinz Raab of Germany. Engineer T. Holsman of the U.S. and observer trainee R. Thompson of Mexico.

It was the 823rd flight by various aircraft chartered by church organisations.
