Three Argentine Conferences On Social Issues

ROSARIO, ARGENTINA,

Some 300 youth leaders from many parts of the country, and 40 counsellors of the Young Christian Workers, gathered here for the fifth national Study Week of Catholic Working Youth. At the same time the women's division of the Young Christian Workers held their third national Study Week here.

Discussions centred on the task of the working-classes, the question of the women's vote, the leisure time of workers, proper use of vacations, and preparation for marriage. A fourth National Week of Social Studies is being organised by the Argentine Catholic Action for the end of May. Its main subject is to be the social restoration of the Argentine family."

The week will be devoted to a study of the Argentine family in the light of Catholic doctrine and in its moral, legal and economic aspects.
