Highgate college to have preparatory school

St. Aloysius' College, Highgate, London. has been granted aided status as a grammar school for 500 pupils by the Ministry of Education. • The accommodation will consist of chapel, 18 classrooms, gymnasium. assembly hall, library, staff rooms. woodwork shop, physics and chemistry laboratories, art and modelling rooms, dining rooms and kitchens.

The community has acquired 109 Hornsey Lane, which will be opened as a junior school on April 24 and will be known as St. Aloysius' Preparatory School.
