Cardinal Griffin school opens

FIRST children to join the Cardinal Griffin School. Poplar, part of the Festival of

Britain Exhibition of " live" architecture. arrived this week and within the next fortnight numbers will increase to the full complement of 400 boys and girls. Cardinal Griffin laid the foundation stone in July last year. and foundations for the last wing are lust being laid.

The school is accommodating children from Millwall, Poplar, Bow and Stepney,
