From a tough district

mHE current issue of Liturgy, the Quarterly of the Society of St. Gregory, has an article which. I am sure, will he of quite special interest to many readers of THF. CATHCHAC HERALD. It is called " Family First Communions" and it is by Fr. D. Kelly. Fr. Kelly is parish priest in what is called " a tough district " in Liverpool, so that one feels that what he has achieved in the dry wood should be easily enough achieved or surpassed in the green. About this achievement, he writes: " I assure you that the results in getting souls hack to the sacraments are simply amazing. far better than any Mission." In Australia in 1941 he had done the same, with the result that a Melbourne Catholic paper said that it should have been thought of years ago. " It should be done in every parish. It will certainly be a permanent arrangement here, atid, next year. please God, it will still be better."
