BISHOP GALVIN, of the Mill Hill Fathers, who was one of the 14 missionary bishops consecrated in St. Peter's, last May by Pope John, on Sunday ordained 19 students of St. Joseph's Foreign Missionary Society to the priesthood and 25 to the subdiaconate.

The ceremony. which took place at St. Joseph's College, Mill Hill, was unique insofar as the Bishop had been Rector there for the past three years and was now ordaining the students he had trained.

Bishop Cialvin, first Vicar Apostolic of Miri, will leave for Sarawak in the autumn.

The new Rector of Mill Hill is Fr. Thomas Sheridan, who has been recalled from Sarawak.

Francis Foley, of St. Helens, to Ngong (Masai country): Fr. Peter Windram, of W. Hartlepool, to Jesselton, N. Borneo; Fr. James Daley. of Middlesbrough, to Tororo, Uganda.
