Hundreds ot Austrians attended a special Mass in the Lourdes grotto near Vienna last week during Mr. Khrushchev's visit to their country. Our picture shows part of the congregation at the Mass, said for the Austrian prisoners of war still in Soviet hands. The Mass took place instead of the silent march that had orginally been planned past Mr. Khrushchev's hotel. Speaking at Heidische Kirche, 6,000 feet up near Zell-am-See in the Austrian Alps, Mr. Khrushchev told reporters last week: " Communism is my elixir of life " and added: " I want to see with my own eyes within my own lifetime the Red Flag flying over the whole planet."
