A fault in the Vatican's top 45 films?

I WAS DISMAYED to read your report that one of the favourite films of the Vatican was Schindler's List.

The film is based on a book and* the first edition says "This book is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are either products of the author's imaginatin or are used fictitiously. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental." Furthermore, "The author extends his grateful appreciation for photographs supplied through the courtesy of ..."

Sadly, parts of the film are made as if it were a documentary. In my opinion the film aims to stir up hatred of the German people.
