YOUTH CLUB OPENED AT BURNHAM

From a Special Correspondent

Built by the voluntary effort of the young men of the parish, a youth club was opened recently at Burnham, Bucks, by Mgr. Parker, Bishop of Northampton.

The building, which was started last October, by members of the church of Our Lady of Peace and St. Laurence, is 80 ft. long and 20 ft. wide and built of white brick. The cost, up to date, is only £400. The Bishop congratulated the parish on its fine work and said Youth Clubs were needed to combat the evils of modern life.
