A new shrine of Our Lady, Queen and Mother of the Christian Schools, will be blessed on Sunday by Bro. Lawrence O'Tole, F.S.C. Assistant Superior General, in the grounds of St. Cassian's Junior Novitiate, Kintbury, Berks.

The shrine has been erected by the English province of the De La Salle Brothers.

The 'statue, carved in Hadene stone by Ivor Livi, is based on an ancient Norman statue of the Madonna and Child in the possession of the Dc La Salle Brothers.
