Italian Christian Workers' Conference

The first national conference of Italian Christian Workers began last week-end in the Pontifical Latin-American College.

The Assembly unanimously agreed to send the following telegram to the Pope: " The first meeting of the Christian Associations of Italian Workers, assembled in this hour of crisis for the purpose of resuming the traditional religious activity of Italian Catholics, promises to seek constant inspiration in the Christian principles especially laid down in the messages from your Holiness, to whom we present our filial affection and devotion!'
