SCAPA! (Adelphi Theatre).

SCOME years ago Mr. Hugh Hastings wrote a very successful play "Seagulls over Sorrento". He has now adapted it to a musical and has written his own lyrics and music. There is then no-one who can say that it has been changed beyond the author's intentions. Despite a good production and performances of considerable merit, it never quite makes it. For Ronald Shiner's brash comedy he substitutes a lot of brass; at least
