priests who celebrated their silver jubilee on Tuesday last. They were ordained at the English College, Lisbon on March 13, 1937. At St. Joan's, Bootle he acted as host to three of his fellow jubilarians. They are Fr. James P. Donnelly of Llanrwst in the Menevia diocese, and Fr. Francis Casey and Fr. William Coupe, both establishing new parishes near Blackburn in the Salford diocese. Each celebrated his jubliee Mass at St. Joan's, two of them were solemn High Masses at which they all assisted. In the evening the parishioners made a presentation to Fr. Duffy at a social gathering in the school. The other three jubilarians belong to the Plymouth diocese. They are Fr. C. Foley, Fr. J. Elwell and Fr. T. O'Leary. They also met for a joint celebration. In May next the seven will unite in a visit to the English College, Lisbon.
