Glastonbury Tor, scene of the martyrdom of Bl. Richard Whiting and his companions, will be preached this year by Archbishop Murphy of Cardiff. The sermon follows the opening prayers, recited by Bishop Rudderham of Clifton, who will lead the Diocesan Pilgrimage on Sunday, May 27. After the sermon, the vast procession will' form and walk through the streets of this ancient stronghold of Christianity, with the usual groups of pilgrims bearing the 14 wooden crosses to the convent field for dialogue Mass to be said by Bishop Rudderham.
