THREE choirs will take part in a "Night of Music" in the City Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne, on April 26 at /.30 p.m. The proceeds will be in aid of the Passionist Monastery, Minsteracres, Consett, Co. Durham.

The choirs are the Hexham Male Voice Choir, the Whitley Bay Girls' Choir, and the Leatherhead Boys' Choir, which has appeared on television and has represented Britain on the Continent.

They will present, as well as secular and sacred music, part of the "Pirates of Penzance" with Mr. Thomas Round. tenor, who is a member of the D'Oyly Carte Company.
