What precisely is needed to be a Jesuit Brother? Age: 18 is not too young, and 30 is not too old. Health: Good health is required for a life of work in Christ's service. Freedom: A man must have no financial or family ties. Desire: He must have such a love of Jesus Christ that he sincerely wants to spend his life in His service; he must desire a life permeated by prayer and lived under obedience; he must really want to devote himself entirely to working for the greater glory of God. Such men are welcome recruits to the ranks of the Jesuit Brothers.
