Newman Association At the new headquarters of the Newman Association,

23, Hereford House, Park Street, W,1, Mr. Joseph Sultana will speak on Sunday, July 26, DI 3 p.m., on Malta. The preacher at the noon Mass at Farm Street on the same day will be Fr. Mangan, S.J. This is the eleventh monthly meeting of the Association. The twelfth will be held on September 6, Gibraltar Evacuees To-morrow, Saturday, July 18, Gibraltar evacuees in Wembley will attend Mass at St. Joseph's at19.30 in thanksgiving for two years' safety in this country, children singing hymns in English and in Spanish. There will be some First Communicants. Fr. Azzopardi, from Gibraltar, will address the congregation.

Southwark Travelling Mission The centre to be visited this week-end by the Southwark Travelling Mission is lion, parish of Strood, Kent. Mass will be said at the Chapel, Church Road, on Sunday, at 9 a.m.

London S.V.P.

A joint quarterly general meeting of the S.V.P. Conferences of Westminster, Southwark and Brentwood, will take place at Amigo Hall, adjoining St. George's Cathedral, Southwark, on Sunday, July 19, at 4 p.m., preceded by Benediction in Notre Dame Convent at 3.30. Mr. Frank R. Morrish, Assistant Organiser of Youth Activities, L.C.C., will give an address.

Stage Guild

The annual Mass of the Catholic Stage Guild will take place at Corpus Christi Church, Maiden Lane, W.C.2, on Sunday, July 26, at 11 a.m. All members are asked to attend.

St. Francis' Ramblers

London Belgian Syndicalists

The Confederation of Christian Syndicates of Belgium in England will hold their general meeting, which will be attended by Mr. Frans Van Cauwelaert, Belgian State Minister and President of the Belgian Parliament, in the hall opposite the Belgian Church, Arlington Road, Camden Town, on Sunday, July 26, at 10.30. Masses at the church at 9.15, II and noon.

Birmingham Catholic Nurses' Guild is leading an interesting nomadic life in pursuit of its object of not only urging new members to its fold, but of drawing the attention of Catholics to the value of the Guild. Meetings are held at various places. This Saturday, the locale is Oscott College.
