Another Polish envoy resigns

Yet another official of the Polish foreign service in Canada has joined the ranks of those who resigned rather than return home. He is Tadeusz Wiewiorewski. commercial attache of the Polish Legation in Ottawa. who said recently that he had been called back to Warsaw for a " conference."

He explained that this is the usual procedure in the case of officials suspected of doubtful loyalty towards the Communist regime. " The conference is of indefinite duration," he added. " In other words they are never seen again."

He wants to remain in Canada with his wife and six-months-old son.
