Crime prevention prize for Jesuit

Fr. James Leitrim, S.J., classics master at St. Michael's College, Leeds, won the first prize in the competition in connection with the Leeds Crime Prevention Exhibition. The prize consisted of a batch of free tickets for the police film, The Mile Lamp. at the Odeon, Leeds.

Fr. Leitrim told a reporter that his hobbies are solving crossword puzzles, reading detective novels and writing Latin verse. He was formerly on the staff of the Preston Catholic College.
