ONE DEBT GOES . . .

Another begins

" The church debt is now dead," Fr. Norman Buffett announced on Sunday at SS Mary and Joseph's Church, Boxmoor, Herts.

He then announced that plans for a further extension had been approved-and after the Mass members of the congregation gave their first donations towards it.

The debt on the first extension had been cleared off by the raising of just over £3.000 in three years.

But many people still have to stand at Mass. Fr. Burnett said the extension will be started as soon as the building licence is obtained.
