The Wind and the Rain lectures. Mr. Francis Berry will speak on Beowulf and the Modern Poet at the Ethical Church Hall, Bayswater, W.2, on March 21 at 8 p.m.

Lord Pakcnham, Mr. William leeling. M.P., and Fr. John Heenan, will speak on The Christian Answer Jo Communism at the House of Kimbell, North Street, Chichester, on March 31 at 7.45. The Bishop of Southwark will preside.

Holy Week talks will be given daily by Fr. Gordon Albion at 10.30 p.m. in the Home Service.

Miss Annie Jolly has been presented with an illuminated address by Fr. Arthur Tomlinson and his parishioners in recognition of her 52 years' service in the choir of the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea. Lowestoft, The People of Freedom Group will hold a meeting at 32 Chepstow Villas, Notting Bill London, on March 23 at 7.45 p.m. Mr. Leslie Paul will speak on Christianity and War.

The &hoist of St. Michael and All Angels will sing the office of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Ethelreda's, Ely Place, London, on March 24 at 7.30 p.m.
