PAPAL ENVOY TO EGYPT And new Delegate for the Holy Land THE Holy See has appointed a

new Papal Internuncio to Egypt, Archbishop Oddi, an Italian, who since 1948 has been Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem, Palestine. Jordan and Cyprus.

Mgr. Oddi takes the place of Archbishop de Jonghe d'Ardoye, a Belgian.

Mgr. Oddi is already in Egypt, having been acting for some time as internunclo during the illness of Mgr. de Jonghe d'Ardoye.

The new Apostolic Delegate to Jerusalem, Palestine, Jordan and Cyprus is Archbishop Sensi, who since 1955 has been Papal Nuncio to Costa Rica. Mgr. Sensi also is an Italian.

NOTE.—It may be interesting to remark that these Papal movements in the Holy Land and Egypt were announced just before the Feast of the Holy Family, and that both Archbishop Oddi and Archbishop Sensi are named Joseph.
