Wine and dine at the Challoner

MR J TOSH, Honorary Secretary of the Challoner Club, 59/61, Font Street, London SWI tells me that a wine and cheese party for members, and former members, will be held on Saturday 26 November, at 7.30 p.m. Tickets, £2 each, can be purchased in advance from Mrs Hawkins of the Challoner Club.

On Friday 18 November, at 8.30 pm the club will be the venue for the first event in the autumn programme of the National University of Ireland Dining Club, \ It is a cocktail reception for the Irish Ambassador, Mr Noel Dorr, who recently presented his credentials at the Court of St James, and for Mrs Dorr. Tickets 15 per person, for the Ambassador's Reception, may be purchased from the Secretary of the NUI Dining Club c/o the Challoner Club.

On Wednesday, 30 November the club will be the setting for

the Annual Mass in remembrance of deceased members of the National University of Ireland Club.
