Consecration of papal envoy to Britain

THE new Apostolic Delegate to Great Britain, Mgr. Igino Cardinale, will be consecrated Titular Archbishop of Nepte this Sunday (October 2(}).

Mgr, Cardinale will he consecrated by Pope Paul in St. Peter's Basilica, along with 13 other bishops from France. Italy, Belgium, Spain Japan, Korea, Thailand, -India, Northern Rhodesia, the United States and England.

The new bishop from England is Mgr. Albert Thomas of Farnborough, Hants, who has been named Bishop of Bathurst, Australia.

The other new bishops are Archbishop Limongi, Apostolic Nuncio to Costa Rica; Bishop Coley, S.D.S.. of Nachingwea. Tanganyika; Bishop Jose Garcia Villas of San Pedro Stile, Honduras; Bishop Francis Hoenen of Enge. the Congo: Bishop Etienne Courtois of Keyes. Mali Republic; Bishop Desire de Montdos of Sikasso, Mali Republic; Bishop Francis X. F.ikichi Tanaka of Takamatsu. Japan; Bishop Vittorinus Youn Kong Hi of Su-Won, Korea: Bishop Joseph Khiarnsum Nittayo, Coadjutor to the Apostolic Vicar of Bangkok. Thailand, Bishop I.ouis Chorin, M.E.P.: Auxiliary Bishop John Baptist Mudartha of Jhansi, India: Auxiliary Bishop Felicisslam Raeymacckers, OF-M. Cap., of Lahore, Pakistan: and Auxiliary Bishop Clement Kabukashansha of Fort Rosehery, Northern Rhodesia.
