I was interested to read Bishop Casey's article of October 4 on the Rosary, headed "The Rosary is not yet dead Bishop Casey".
At Mass on Wednesday morning last week, at which two classes from our primary school were present, the priest asked the children, rather sceptically, how many of them said the Rosary in the home. To my astonishment — and no doubt to his also — all but a very few put up their hands.
Also we have the Rosary recited every week before Benediction and quite a number of people are there.
The Rosary certainly isn't dead in the North.
