Two additional language sections have been announced for the Vatican Council's Press Office, namely, Arabic and Chinese. This brings to a total of nine the number of languages in which reporters receive their briefings on each day's events in the Council chamber. The others are French, German, English, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish.
