An English Arabic grammar compiled by Fr. Richard J. McCarthy, S.I., has just been published in Baghdad. It is the first in a linguistic series sponsored by the Oriental Institute of Al-Ilikma University. Fr. McCarthy, front Springfield, Mass., has spent 27 years studying and teaching Arabic.
