PRAGUE
An inquiry is being made into the activities of the Theological School of Charles University in Prague by the Government, following the heckling of Mgr. Beran. Archbishop of Prague, at St. Vitus' Cathedral, by Communists on June 19, a Church official reported.
This is regarded as an excuse for stricter Government control of the University, according to the spokesman.
Western diplomats in Prague believe !hat Czechoslos akin will refuse a visa to Mgr. Paolo Bertoli, appointed by the Vatican to be Charge d'Affaires at the Papal Nunciature in Prague.
Mgr. Bertoli has been waiting in Berne for a month for a visa to enable him to replace Mgr. Genarro Verolino, who left Czechoslovakia on July 12 after the Government accused him of " interference " in internal affairs.
