THE Vatican's "Education Minister" has held secret ta s with rectors of Rome's 14 pontifical universities and 27 ecclesiastical colleges to discuss ways to cope with growing student unrest. Vatican sources said last week.
They said the outcome of the talks by Cardinal Garrone, the French-born Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for Catholic Education, was not announced. Participants were sworn to secrecy on orders from Pope Paul.
