A FORMER taxi-driver, turned stained glass artist, has just completed the first stained-glass window of Our Lady of Fatima to be erected in. Australia.

The artist is regarded as one of the leading liturgical workers in stained glass. He uses glass from beer bottles as material because of its peculiar amber colour.

The window is in the parish Church of St. Mary Kyneton, which was dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary nearly a century ago. it is set in an excellently lighted position on the Epistle side of the church, and depicts the appearance of Our Lady to the three children at Fatima.
