The Banyan trust

From Mrs Anne Lamer Sir, I am writing to extend my thanks to the readers of The Catholic Herald for their warmhearted response to the article which you carried about the Banyan Trust and our work with handicapped street-children in Calcutta. We received many letters of support and generous donations which will help us to build on our care programme, secure the future of the children and extend similar chances to others.

It is comforting to know that our work has touched a chord with so many people and that they will include the Banyan Trust in their thoughts and prayers.

Yours faithfully, ANNE LARNER St Albans, Herts.
