Progress at New Barnet

They are building a new church in Barnet. It is being designed by Mr. T. IT. B. Scott, F.R.1.B,A., and will cost just over

£5,000. Last Sunday, November 14, the foundation stone was laid by the Archbishop of Westminster, in the presence of the parishioners and priests from the neighbouring parishes. The Archbishop said that he was extremely happy to see the progress that was being made in New Barnet.

The result of a fencing match against Queen Mary College on Tuesday, November 9, was a victory for Vaughan School with four defeats over Queen Mary College, twelve defeats. The future matches of this term include, Saturday, November 27, v. Old Boys, and Saturday, December 11, v. Coopers' school,
