; A Maytime link for ; France and England

May Day, Our Lady's month of May, the Cure or Ars, and St. Thomas of Canterbury are all linked by this picture of the statue of Our Lady which stands above the shrine of Our Lady of Fourviere beside the Basilica of the same name at Lyons. St Jean

Vianney visited this shrine a number of times and once brought his whole parish on pilgrimage there. Under the church is the chapel of et. Thomas of Canterbury, the first shrine to be dedicated to this English Saint after he was canonised.
